Application
Category 5e (cat5e) cable is a twisted pair cable for carrying signals used most commonly in cabling for computer networks such as Ethernet. Cat5e cables are also used to carry other signals such as telephony and video.
Description
Cat5e cable consists of solid plain annealed copper wire with high density polyethylene insulation, and a choice of PVC, LSNH, or PE (polyethylene) sheath.
